Established in 2015, PT Wira Global Solusi Tbk (WGS Ventures) began with IT services for SMEs, transitioned into a Venture Builder™ in 2020, and by 2024 evolved into a Venture Capital company. Today, headquartered in Holland Village, Jakarta, WGS Ventures focuses on integrating profitable, cashflow-generating businesses with tech-enabled ventures and visionary founders, building companies that thrive through our network, resources, and expertise.
WGS Ventures is a subsidiary of PT Walden Global Services (WGS.co.id), which was founded in 2009 by Ikin Wirawan.
Venture Capital, Supply Chain Financing, Tech Startup Investments
Ikin Wirawan began in a garage located in a small alley (Adimaja No. 12). With US$1000, he started writing code for customers and also launched a small ecommerce venture.
Ikin's company PT Walden Global Services (WGS) is growing, it becomes one of Indonesia's largest software & IT Services company serving large corporates.
WGSHub is spun off from WGS, launched as an ecosystem to serve agencies, family businesses, SMEs, & tech startups.
Introduced by a Silicon Valley Venture Capitalist, Sinarmas Land approached Ikin Wirawan to open a satellite office in BSD City, which aspires to be a physical digital hub. We decided to open WGSHub first office.
The original BSD space was expanded and rebranded into Techpolitan. Now it's no longer just a WGSHub office, but a full-blown new venture with a special focus on property enablement business.
Ikin Wirawan's Joint Venture with one of the largest jewelry manufacturers shows good traction. WGSHub's ecosystem of tech solutions are complete. This is the year where Venture Builder™ model was initiated.
Through the support and education from various parties, including IDX, WGSHub decides that as a publicly-listed company, we can assist more companies especially post Covid era.
WGSHub grows with solution, various industry partnership & internal IPs. We transition to Venture Builder model, and debuted on IDX with the ticker symbol WGSH.
WGSHub strengthened Indonesia's startup ecosystem and tech talent pipeline through partnerships with Indogen Capital, Impactto, and Telkom University. These efforts supported startups, expanded digital innovation, and created career opportunities. Our move into the metaverse and fisheries JV highlights our commitment to Indonesia's digital economy.
WGS Ventures launched Techmind Conference to inspire industry leaders toward transformative growth. Partnering with AKSI, we expanded our logistics solutions for sea and air transport. We also began R&D in large language models (LLMs) and GPT technology, unlocking new AI-driven business opportunities to enhance Indonesia's digital landscape.
WGSHub is now WGS Ventures, transitioning from a venture builder to a venture capital firm. This shift sharpens its focus on supply chain financing, short-term loans, and tech startup investments. Key milestones include launching Sandbox, partnering in a Data Center project, and expanding into manufacturing, agribusiness, and digital innovation.
